A place with a story, where peace and hospitality come together About our hotel Enjoy Hotel L’Eau Vive is housed in a building with a rich history, set in the greenery on the banks of the Semois. The property dates back to the early 1900s, when a bolt factory was located here. In the 1930s, it became part of the region’s tobacco heritage as the tobacco factory of the Denoncin family. At that time, the water of the Rau Ruaumoulin stream powered the machines used to cut the tobacco by means of a waterwheel. The old channels and the wheel can still be seen next to the hotel and are a reminder of this period. After a period of being used as a tobacco storage facility, the building was given a new purpose. Today, L’Eau Vive is an inviting hotel with 29 rooms and 5 wooden chalets, where we have carefully preserved the authentic features.
