The property dates back to the early 1900s, when a bolt factory was located here. In the 1930s, it became part of the region\u2019s tobacco heritage as the tobacco factory of the Denoncin family. At that time, the water of the Rau Ruaumoulin stream powered the machines used to cut the tobacco by means of a waterwheel. The old channels and the wheel can still be seen next to the hotel and are a reminder of this period.<\/p>\n<p>After a period of being used as a tobacco storage facility, the building was given a new purpose. Today, L\u2019Eau Vive is an inviting hotel with 29 rooms and 5 wooden chalets, where we have carefully preserved the authentic features.
